School Readiness Program
A School Readiness Program run by school teachers and speech pathologists that includes academic, social and organisational elements to assist your child's transition to 'big school' seamlessly
Teacher, Anna Lennon, has developed a school readiness program that will introduce students to the concepts of school life and simulate a classroom setting. The program includes academic, social and organisational elements, which will help develop skills that will assist in your child transitioning to “big school” seamlessly. The program also has access to the gymnasium as our 'big school' playground! Anna loves working with children, her natural ability to build rapport, enables for a safe environment for children to build trust and confidence and a positive environment to learn.
Speech Pathologist, Olivia O'Hare, will observe students throughout the program and provide a comprehensive checklist outlining the child's ability in the below areas and their level of school readiness.

What next?
We now offer a continuation from the holiday program in the form of group lessons in our Now We're Ready classroom. Groups consist of no more than 4 students and the above skills are continually developed to help get your child ready for their up and coming school journey in a holistic way.
We have also teamed up with LFK Dance and Gym to run a 2 hour program for our students to begin building their stamina and mental endurance.
The students begin with a 45 minute gymnastics class, a 15 minute brain food break followed by an hour of Literacy and numeracy in a classroom setting. Our current cohort have improved so much and parents have enjoyed some time to themselves too!
